Wouldn't Go Anywhere Else

Been a J&L customer for over two years now. I found out about them through a referral when my car needed some diagnostic/repair work, and I have been so thrilled with their service I now take my car to them for all my oil changes as well. Because of my husband's work schedule, I'm always the one who ends up making these kind of appointments, and I can't tell you what a relief it is to know I have a mechanic that is trustworthy and fair. If you want personal, honest service, this is definitely the place to go.

Long-time customer

J&L is a trusted repair shop. I've been a customer for almost 10 years on each of our cars. I appreciate the friendly interaction and courtesy. Throughout the years they've earned my trust by doing great work, at reasonable cost, and suggesting cost saving alternatives when appropriate. They take the time to discuss the problem, the recommendation and the work completed.

Thankful for Good Service

It's such a pain dealing with car maintenance, so I was dreading the day I took my car to J&L. Thanks to the guys at J&L, I was pleasantly surprised. Justin was respectful, and was very helpful by thoroughly explaining all the work I would need done. I feel the price was fair, my car is running great, and most importantly I do not feel I was taken advantage of (as I am a woman). I'll be a repeat customer from here on out. I appreciate the great service guys - it's hard to come by these days

My New Mechanics

I brought my BMW X3 in for brake and muffler work since the BMW expired. They quickly inspected the vehicle and were able to let me know that there were no issues that needed immediate attention. I promise you that the dealer would have "found" something to fix and charge me for. I think trust is critical with a mechanic, J & L earned mine by giving me straight advice. This is where I'll go from now on. Give them a chance to earn your trust, I would be shocked if they weren't able to make you a believer. Sean

They did a good job fixing my car. Only feedback is the the dealership needs to work on following-up as promised. Otherwise, good work, I will be back.

Just Awesome!

We've been going to J&L since we moved here in 2004 and they are great! Gabe and Justin have always been accommodating and great with communicating the options and helping me understand basic mechanics. As a woman I feel safe with J&L - I know I won't be taken advantage of and that means A LOT! Michelle

MINI Cooper

all wheel alignment for an excellent price. They explained the results alignment specs with me. Honest, friendly and polite. I will definitely take both my cars back when I need work in the future.

As a female, I wouln't take my car anywhere else..

I have taken my car to J&L for several years now, for ALL my car needs. The whole staff is very knowlegable and friendly. They have told me on occasion what my car doesn't need done, so I don't feel they are just trying to make $. They truly seem to want to build their business by offering the best and most honest service.

Honest & Solid with a small town feel

My wife and I have been using J&L for over 3 years now and each time they continue to reinforce my belief that they run the best shop around. I've done a bit of wrenching myself in my life, so I'm a bit particular, but they have always gone above and beyond reasonable expectations to help us out with getting the proper solution, whether it was at their shop or not. They even give my wife rides to the MARTA station when she goes to drop her car off. Any garage where your wife feels comfortable hanging out is definitely a strong vote of approval for any shop. Not to mention their work is top notch. I had an intake manifold gasket replaced a few years back, and they took the time to clean up the entire engine bay. I was pleasantly surprised that someone took the time and care to make sure that the work was not only functional, but looked clean and crisp as well. I can't say enough good things about these guys.

Sound Business Practitioner

Good Story.Had a check engine light on my Lincoln LS to get checked out. Turns out I needed a new catalytic converter. They gave me an honest price that was a bit outside of my budget. Without even asking or pleading, these fine folks referred me to a place that would retro fit one for me at a better price. Who does that anymore? My cars will be coming here on a regular basis.

Very trustworthy and solid service!

I've come to J&L for many different services, and each time I am happy with the service and quality of the work provided. Most recently, I took my father's minivan there for a coolant leak. They diagnosed the problem right away, gave me a quote, ordered the part, and had the van ready the next day! After that the owner also took the time to check the transmission fluid for free (a request that was made after the original transaction). Excellent!

Best in town

We were on vacation when our transmission started giving us problems. Which could have sidelined us but thanks to Randy and Justin for getting us in, in a very timely manner and the tecs who worked on it we were able to continue on our way. The prices were very fair and both tecs knew their jobs. Thanks for the great service guys

Satisfied Customer

I needed some routine maintenance done, and J&L was the best quote I could find. On this ocassion I only had routine maintenance done, but Justin was very knowledgeable about services I will need to do in the future. He also took me to the Marta station, which was very helpful. J&L is fast, professional and convenient, and I plan on taking my car there in the future.

Most honest auto repair shop you will find

J&L does all of my repairs and maintenance. They are honest and fair in their pricing and the work is first quality. As a woman, who has gotten taken advantage of at other shops, I was comfortable and never felt talked down to or taken advantage of. Randy and Justin are very professional in the office. Alan and David take personal pride in a job well done.

J&L does a good job on our cars

We have used J&L many times over the past 5 years and alway have had a good experience with them. Sometimes I think they may be charging a little more than others but they always get the job done right the first time.

I've found my mechanic!!

I'd been told by some OTHER shops that my car needed several hundred dollars worth of work. I took it to J&L after reading other people's reviews, thinking that I was taking it somewhere honest and reasonable. They MORE than proved themselves to me. Not only did they charge me much less than what I thought they would, they fixed the problem - a problem that was much less $$ than I thought it would be. Why is that? Probably because J&L is an HONEST mechanic! They diagnosed the problem differently than what other shops had said. Interesting - after J&L fixed my car, the car was fixed! Just goes to show that others are out to get ya and J&L is out to HELP you.

These guys do great work and are honest and dependable. It's not very often that you find a mechanic that doesn't try to upsell you on repairs that you don't need. I highly recommend J&L.

Good Job / Good Price

I was referred to J & L Auto by Discount Tire for a wheel alignment on my VW Passat. They did a great job at a terrific price. I'll use them in the future for my auto service needs.

Great and close to home

Royal Subaru tried to charge me $350 to fix my driver side power window. ( labor and parts) J&L did it for $88. Was Royal tring to rip me off or just that bad. I don't care J&L are my guy's here on out.

Good Experience

I'm looking for a mechanic I can trust. With my first experience with J&L I hope I have found that mechanic. The experience was good, they were professional, and they did what they said they were going to do. Also, I got my car back the same day! My one con is that they charge(d) a $73 diagnostic fee. I understand charging that if I wouldn't have had them do any work, but I had them do over $400. I don't know if this is now standard for mechanics, but this kept them from getting a 5 anyway.

I called around several places to see how much it would be to get my truck fixed and kept getting such high prices. I called them and set up a appointment and they gave me the best price ever. Now I can get my truck fixed and be able to afford it. Highly recommend. A++

Alignment success

My front-wheel drive car was apparently difficult to align, because several businesses had tried and failed. J&L got it right the first time. Very professional operation, yet small enough to be personal. Highly recommend.
